Roan Sine

Roan Sine is the author of Worldline Identity Theory and Cosmological Recurrence. The work develops a metaphysics of personal identity from the block universe conception of spacetime: the idea that a person is not a momentary subject moving through time, but the complete four-dimensional structure of a conscious life.

The theory is written as a philosophical argument, not a physics paper. It begins from the existence of conscious experience as a datum and asks what the subject of that experience is. The answer it proposes is the complete conscious worldline: the entire spacetime structure of a life, taken as one object.
